More info: If you say Y here, you get support for talking to the ChromeOS EC through rpmsg. This uses a simple byte-level protocol with a checksum. Also since there's no addition EC-to-host interrupt, this use a byte in message to distinguish host event from host command. To compile this driver as a module, choose M here: the module will be called cros_ec_rpmsg.
